Can I charge the PTT3 on a normal 110v outlet?

You can charge the PTT3 on normal 110v outlets, but higher voltage outlets will result in higher charging speeds.

When do I need my batteries or wheels replaced?

All of our equipment is designed for industrial use with daily use in mind. However, if you run into an issue with your battery or wheels, you can always fill out a form on our “Request a Quote Page” for a replacement part. Normal maintenance, however, varies between products and can be found in your owner’s manual.

Are there any emissions with your battery-powered machinery?

All of our battery-powered equipment, such as our transporters and power tuggers, are emission free thanks to our battery technology.

Designed to move up to 100,000 pounds, Power Tuggers are the ideal solution for easily moving heavy loads on a facility floor with a single operator.

Power Tuggers

Hedin USA’s PTT3 and PTT6 Power Tuggers are designed to be powerful machines, maneuvering up to 100,000 lbs. The tuggers work by lifting the front end of non-motorized trailers, carts, or pallets, and distribute the load to the wheels on the trailer. By taking on the sheer weight of the load, a single operator can comfortable maneuver heavy loads around a facility at speeds up to 120 feet per minute.

Safety
Features

All of our Power Tuggers are equipped with a belly safety button that prevents the tugger from pinning the operator. Once hit, the belly safety button triggers the tugger to move forward and lock controls for a limited time when depressed.

Power Tuggers are a flexible option for maneuvering carts and loads around a facility, allowing operators to quickly pick up loads and transport them to the next area of production or into storage. These things can move anything. Simply hook it up to the load and go.

Our GT tuggers are built to lift up the front end of wheeled carts and trailers, distributing the heavy load evenly - making it effortless to move up to 220,000 lbs.

GT Tugger

The GT Tugger gives operators the ability to lift up trailers, carts, and steel pallets, all in a small package with radio control and AGV options. Unlike our Flatbed and Pallet Transporters, the GT Tugger utilizes a hitch to lift the load and maneuver it into position.

What's the
Difference?

Hedin USA offers 3 different types of Tuggers and all have special uses. The GT Tugger specializes in driving under trailers or carts and moving higher capacity loads. The hitch comes up from the GT Tugger and lifts the load and moves it via AGV or RF control.

Safety
First

The operator is kept at a safe distance from the moving load, lowering the possibility of the operator being injured during load transport. With either AGV or RF control, the operator can safely maneuver the load around the facility with maximized precision controls.

Even
Heavier Duty

The GT Tugger is our highest capacity Tugger, with the ability to be customized for an even higher weight capacity than the standard models we have listed. Whatever the load weighs, we’ll do the math to make your GT Tugger strong enough to handle that weight and more.

Ride-On Tuggers are designed to transport heavy loads by lifting the front end of non-motorized trailers and carts, all while allowing the operator to ride along and stay at a safe distance from the maneuvering of the load. Operators gain superhuman-like strength to move heavy loads up to hundreds of thousands of pounds, all while staying in full control of the tugger and the load in order to safely maneuver it throughout a facility.

Ride-On Tuggers grant the operator the ability to focus solely on the movement of heavy loads. Our control handle allows them to move the Tugger and themselves and the load at speeds up to 150 feet-per-minute in a controllable and safe manner.

With the ability to climb on board and go, the Ride-On Tugger provides a quick solution to moving heavy loads up to hundreds of thousands of pounds around a manufacturing facility or warehouse. Instead of having a large forklift that is difficult to see around, the Ride-On Tugger is compact and easy to maneuver.

With the ability to ride on the Tugger, operators will experience less fatigue and be able to perform heavy load maneuvers safer for longer periods of time.
